One of my bigger portraits. Usually after showing those intense portraits someone will contact me, apparently concerned if I’m alright. Though i appreciate the concern, i can assure you I’m not depressed. At all. On the contrary, I'm hopelessly optimistic by nature and laugh a lot. But I'm also old enough to know that life isn't all sunshine, rainbows and unicorn f..rts and it is inevitable that you sometimes feel alone, powerless, and forgotten. Desperately in need of someone to help you. The beauty and the dark define us, shape us, and I want this to be part in my art as well.
